: Poster Activity
Perfect to review for Fire Safety Week!...Let your students express what they know about fire safety by using this 8.5 x 11 poster (landscape).
This poster will look great hanging outside your classroom and parents will enjoy reading them when they are sent home.
The fire safety poster activity has plenty of places for students to add their own creative touches with color.
Kids can always use a review of basic fire safety, as one never knows when they might need it. (Hopefully never!)
The sections for the students to fill out are:
*place for name
*Never Ever pull a fire alarm unless there is a fire.... why?
*If my house catches on fire, here is my plan....
*Why is it important to check smoke detectors in your home on a regular basis?
*Some people call firemen heroes. Do you think they are heroes? Why or why not?
*What is the purpose of a fire extinguisher? Where might you keep one?
*Explain what this mean...Stop*Drop*Roll
*Fire is a tool, not a toy. Explain
*Crawl low under smoke? Why?
Use as a center activity or even as morning work. Use it in your classroom however you would like.
