You will receive 2 printable coloring pages (a boy/ a girl). Have your students color them to look like them. Once they are colored, have them spray the clothes in the picture once with a spray bottle. Give them small pieces of red/orange/yellow tissue paper to press onto the damp clothes. While those pieces dry, do a short circle time where you have felt flame pieces that you throw onto to their clothes and have them each practice Stop...Drop...Cover...Roll. Make sure each of them gets a turn while the rest instruct them what to do to get the fire out on their clothes. Once they have each had a turn, have them go to their pictures and tell the boy or girl what they should do as they flick off the "now dried" tissue paper. The kids always love learning about this! There are three pictures to show our process.
