Contains: *2 Fire Safety PowerPoints with animation
*Student fill-in printables that coincide with each
*2 bonus vocabulary worksheets
This folder contains 2 fire safety PowerPoints, each accompanied by printables that students fill in as the teacher moves through the PowerPoint slides on the Smart Board. This forces students to pay closer attention, refocus, and write important key words.
The first PowerPoint contains 13 animated slides that focus on important actions to take should there be a house fire. Actions include: what to do if your clothes catch fire, checking your smoke detectors, locating your fire extinguisher, how to get out of the house safely, what to do if you are trapped, and more!
The second PowerPoint contains 10 slides and shows images of various fire hazards. Students must figure out what the hazards are, what the results would be, and how to change them.
The folder also contains 2 vocabulary printables.

and Community Safety for Teens and Young Adults with Disabilities
I teach older teens and young adults with disabilities. I create my own materials because I find it hard to find age appropriate materials for students who read and comprehend at a low level. These activities will also work with younger students.
