Lessons for Youngsters: Firefighters

This set has been created to help young students to recognize six vocabulary words (about firefighters) and help to develop reading and writing skills by solving a variety of activities. It can be used when teaching about community, community helpers, heroes, or during fire prevention week.

This set includes sixteen pages:

Page 1: Students will cut and paste.
Page 2: Students will read and color.
Page 3: Students will count and color.
Page 4: Students will trace.
Page 5: Students will write.
Page 6: Students will draw.
Page 7: Students will read and match.
Pages 8-13: Students will unscramble, write, and color. (Every page features a word)
Page 14: Students will trace and write in ABC order.
Page 15: Students will write the name, draw, and write a sentence.
Page 16: Students will complete a hero profile about firefighters.
