This is designed as a fun review for students to help them retain the information presented in the unit. I have students work individually or with a partner. Then they are allowed to use them in a memory game format. For struggling students, I number the back of the matching cards to allow them to check their work. (They can see if "Natural Resources" matches with "things from nature", "plants", and "deer" by flipping the cards over to see if they have the same number on them.)
You can copy the cards and laminate them for future use, including as station activity or when students finish work early. They can also be sent home with students for them to review with parents or on their own. I usually copy the sets on different colored paper to easily separate them.
