Object: Students will have a “snowball” fight with the questions. Once the students, catch a “snowball”. They answer the question to help the students get to know one another.
I love playing this game outside or in the gym area with my students the first few days of school. The students will be given a sheet of paper with a question on it. Ask the students to crumble up their question into a “snowball”. Divide the class up into two teams or stand in a circle. It is important to explain what to expect when the snowball fight begins so the students know how to play correctly. I tell my students that when I say go they throw as many snowballs till they see my hand raise as the signal to stop. Each person should have a “snowball” and the students will answer the question on their snowball to the class or to a partner (however you decide to do it for your class). It is a fun and engaging way for students to interact the first few days back to school!
