First Day Bingo
Need something in a jiffy to start your morning the first day of school? Use this simple Bingo template to have students interact and get acquainted with one another. This mix and mingle game allows you, as the teacher, to quickly see which students are socially ready to interact with their peers and print their own name.
Everyone wins as soon as they have found a DIFFERENT student to sign under each picture on their game sheet. Be sure to have each student print their own name on the BACK of the paper before you begin. Once the sheet is full, award the student with a stamp, sticker, small treat, etc. And don't forget to play and let your students learn a little bit about you too, teachers! :)
The nine questions students will circulate to ask their classmates include:
Do you have a cat?
Do you play baseball?/Are you on a baseball team?
Do you have blue eyes? (I print the game sheet out in grayscale and use a blue highlighter to colour in the iris of the eye on all of the photocopies).
Do you like pizza?
Do you know how to swim without water wings?
Do you own a boat?/Did you go on a boat this summer?
Did you go camping this summer?
Do you know how to tie shoes with laces?
Did you go to the beach this summer?
