First Day Coloring Sheet

Welcome your students back to school in style! On the first day of school, I love to have a coloring sheet on my student's new desk so they have something to do after they find their seat and put their things away. This sheet is perfect because it incorporates coloring, practicing writing their name, and also can serve as a self-portrait sample to compare with an end of the year portrait sample.

This would be an excellent activity to include in a student's portfolio or year long scrapbook.
