First Day Jitters Writing Activity

I created this file to correlate with the book, First Day Jitters, by Julie Danningberg. I always enjoy reading the book on the first day of school and wanted to add a writing activity to go with it this year. I have students write about a time they were feeling like the main character in the book, whether it be today (the first day of 4th grade) or a previous year. There is also a spot for the students to illustrate their writing. I bind the writings together to create a class book. I take the book apart prior to the last day of school and hand the writings back to the students.
