Looking for something fun, collaborative, and informative activity for the first day of school? Consider trying a breakout game. This free product contains my sample game, and a link to the fully editable Google document so that you can take my game and modify it for use in your own classroom.
This breakout game asks students to work together and think critically in order to solve the puzzles and discover the teacher's favorite color. Along the way, the students have to read the class syllabus, review class expectations and materials, and locate key places in the classroom. This is a fun way to introduce the class expectations and learn something about the new teacher.
