This product is used in conjunction with the book, How NOT to Start Third Grade by Cathy Hapka and Ellen Titlebaum. There are 5 different lessons that you could do that go along with this book. You do not have to do all lessons on the first day of school. However, all the lessons tie back to the book. This book is a silly and fun read aloud. The kids will laugh out loud. There are many good lessons that can be taught from this book. I have included a few of them!
Lesson 1: What Makes a Good Classmate Booklet (5 page booklet)
Lesson 2- Words of Wisdom for Kindergarteners (another version for advice for upcoming second graders)
