I used this activity with my middle school ELL students. I put students into pairs and gave them the first clue. They took an iPad and went to the spot and took a picture. They then needed to come back to class to show me the picture of the correct thing before I gave them the next clue. At the end I had students upload their pictures on to the new Class Dojo Portfolio site.
It’s a great activity to have students work together, use technology, and get to know the school. You can also extend the activity by having other school members (librarian, nurse, secretaries, etc.) participate in giving the students clues. Also, you could use this idea to teach about rules/PBIS throughout the school.
