10 Single Digit Number Cards (0 – 9) (Pages 4-13).
Step 1: Print Single Digit Number Cards (Pages 4-13).
Step 2: Cut out Single Digit Number Cards along dotted lines.
Step 3: Fold front and back of Single Digit Number Cards along solid line.
Step 4: Paste front and back of Single Digit Number Cards together.
Step 5: Laminate Single Digit Number Cards (Optional but HIGHLY recommended!).
Step 6: Print or copy enough Greater or Less Practice worksheets (Page 3) for all students.
Step 7: PLAY!
How to Play:
Mix Single Digit Number Cards up. Pick a number for the day from the Single Digit Number Cards. Randomly choose remaining numbers one at a time from the Single Digit Number Cards. Have students demonstrate if chosen number is greater or less than the number for the day by circling the word greater or less. For instance, if the number for the day is 5 and you choose 6 than students would circle the word greater. The number line on the Greater of Less Practice worksheet can be used to aid students in selecting appropriate comparable. Single Digit Number Cards include pictures and can be used to give students a visual and counting practice.
