2. Read Across Time (Lexile Levels 190 and 290)

3. Music In Our Schools (Lexile Levels 250 and 350)

4. Women's History (Lexile Levels 290 and 390)

5. National Peanut Month (Lexile Levels 290 and 390)

6. Shamrocks and Clovers (Lexile Levels 230 and 340)

7. St. Patrick's Day (Lexile Levels 170 and 360)

8. The Irish Fairy (Lexile Levels 260 and 380)

9. The Tricky Leprechaun (Lexile Levels 190 and 300) (A retelling of an old Irish folktale)

10. Spring Cleaning (Lexile Levels 150 and 290)

11. Spring (Lexile Levels 280 and 350)

Each of the single passage pages above can be printed out to be used as stand-alone activities.

Five activities per passage can benefit for use as weeklong homework or a spring break packet.

Can be used for standards based or referenced grading!

While this unit fits perfectly with March--- the activities are timeless. Seven of the passages have no reference to the holiday of St. Patrick's Day.
