This resource is meant to be a student centered tracking device
for states that are using the Common Core.

My suggestion (and what I do with my students) is to hole punch
it, and put it in a binder, or in a portfolio- type folder. Students
will be aware when they master the skill and the teacher will
sign for them. This makes for a truly common core integrated
classroom, as students are aware of the standard/ objective and
their progress.

For First grade I would recommend keeping the folders all in 1
place, and even sharing at conferences. I would even recommend
sending the folder on with them to 2nd grade!
