Product Description
This bundle is a great resource for first grade teachers who want to meet the needs of ALL their students. I have found that some students do not always learn at the same pace as other students so, in order to teach every student what they need specifically, teachers need to DIFFERENTIATE! This includes spelling!
To use this bundle, give a pre-test on Monday using List 1. If students pass, move them on to List 2. If students do not pass, this shows they need to practice with List 1. List 2 is more challenging! This bundle pairs great with the WONDERS reading series.
This bundle has the following:
*parent notes to send home explaining what students need to do to be successful
*editable parent note and spelling list
*teacher copy of List 1 and 2 for each week
*Spelling charts to track data
*Pre-test template
*Post test template
*2 different types of each of the following word sorts:
-sorting 2 word families
-sorting 3 word families
-sorting 4 word families
**these word sorts can be used for ANY of the word lists-just choose the
correct sort and you are good to go (GREAT FOR CENTERS)
*Word Ring/Flash Cards for EVERY list! The cards can also be used on a Word Wall.

This bundle is meant to be used with any resource for word families. I use other word family resources to help teach students word families-this bundle is a great way to assess if your students are understanding what the word families are for-finding those words that have a similar part to help them become secure readers.

ENJOY!!
