First Grade Fluency BUNDLE {August - June}

This fluency pack is unique in that it is LEVELED!
It meets the Common Core Standard for Fluency as well.
RF.1.4b Read grade-level text orally with accuracy, appropriate rate, and expression on successive readings.
Each month, there are four different themed passages. Three for each level - High, Medium and Low. I've provided a conversion chart that is specific to the passages
I've leveled each individual passage and aligned them to AR, DRA & Fountas & Pinnell.
Each week, you can give your students something to read for their nightly fluency that meets their needs! :)
On each fluency sheet, there is a grid for you or a parent to log how many words per minute the student reads, and some scaffolded comprehension questions for the students as well. The questions are rigorous and provide opportunities for the students to discuss their thinking about the text with their parents--rather than provide a yes or no answer. Each page has numbered lines for ease of grading!
This has been a wonderful opportunity for parents to have something tangible to do with their students nightly! In my classroom, I send this as homework, but, for those of you wanting to use it for assessment, I've added a student form that has no questions or numbers. :)

I've put in the August - November Pack, the December - March Pack, both the first and second editions. :) (The second edition had more lower passages in it), and the April through June pack.
I've included pdf files of all of the passages so that you can organize your own fluency binder. I've posted an editable excel file with filters on my blog and a cute cover for your binder as well if you're interested.
