Product Description
Teach early readers to use specific reading comprehension skills such as those listed below. Clear, easy to use graphic organizers come with step by step lesson plans. Teaching points can be "read" to teach lesson, making these plans easy for beginning teachers or substitutes. Plans are aligned to first grade Common Core Learning Standards.
A "poster" of each graphic organizer makes it easy to project the organizer for an introduction or to keep on hand for discussion of text structures and/or review of comprehension skills.
This collection includes graphic organizers, plans and posters for all of the important comprehension skills / text structures taught at first gradel. Many GOs have simplified (fewer details) versions as well, so differentiating for students with lower ability is easier.
