Get your first grade students ready to work with PowerPoint with these three easy exercises. Created with early readers in mind, students can learn to use the PowerPoint interface, delete, rotate, move images and even add their own words. Tried and tested on my own students! Powerpoint files provided. *I found it was easiest to copy the files onto the desktop or into a folder for students. On the first day, I even opened the Counting project ahead of time so students only had to deal with the interface. On the Matching project, the last slide: replace the bunny with a frog using right click >Change Picture > Bing Image Search. The students loved it! It would be fun for ELA as well.
