Product Description

1st grade teachers, these math games are perfect guided math station activities! They are just the thing to help your math workshop run smoothly and engage your kiddos in some deep math thinking! Let me ask you this...have you ever needed to review something with a student, only to realize that the activities you have for that skill are out of season? Have you ever had students that are either ahead or behind of where you are in the unit? (Ha, of course you have!) My “Ready, Set, Math” series is just what you need to differentiate for every kiddo in your classroom.

There are 4 OA centers, 4 NBT centers, and a mix of 4 MD & G centers each month, with opportunities to review skills throughout the year. There are also 4 hands-on problem solving centers each month to help your students develop the behaviors of a mathematician and access higher level thinking. While most of the centers were developed for independent work, there are a few that may be more appropriate for use in a guided group setting.

All of the tasks and activities progress in difficulty throughout the year, so students feel confident as they build upon what they have learned & practiced in previous months. Best of all, the activities are non-themed, so you can give your struggling students centers from previous months while your advanced students can be moved ahead.
