Teach through June? Here is a resource for you or for giving your first graders practice for the summer. Math Common Core and TEKS objectives (for our Texans) are practiced in this resource. These activities are JUST PRINT, NO PREP! All pages are black and white for easy printing.
June has numbers 168-187. These numbers are NOT meant to coordinate with the number of days in school! This has been created to help students begin to think about math (numbers) in different ways. June's resource is a review of many of the skills taught during the school year!
Objectives this month cover:
♯ Written form
♯ Expanded form
♯ Place value
♯ Money -recognizing coins and their value, counting, adding coins
NOTE: Money activities this month will be challenging for 1st graders
Other skills practiced for June:
♯ Skip Counting
♯ Fractions- halves and fourths
♯ 10 Frames
♯ Counting using Base Ten blocks
♯ Comparing numbers
♯ Gathering information from a graph
Once students learn what is expected, I have the sheets out for them to begin as a warm-up to our calendar and/or Math Lesson for the day.
