I've spent the last 18 years developing these 38 1st grade Common Core-aligned math songs--and now videos, to make a difference for children! They are aligned to every single Common Core first grade standard!!! I've finished creating 37/38 videos, which is reflected in the current discounted price.
A smaller set of my EduTunes math songs were used as part of a 2009 study of 286 students (Kokobas, 2009--see reference below). Using the Scale of Attitudes Toward Mathematics and mathematics achievement tests for 5 units as measurement tools, she found that the songs decrease anxiety, increase motivation, and increase mathematics achievement. I'd love to be able to make a difference in your classroom with them!
If you press "play" through the TpT site, you can access a sample of "Making 21-30." You can see how this video is a logical "next step" to the K-1 version, found here: Making 11-20 Kindergarten and 1st Grade Number Sense Video

Telling Time to the Hour and Half Hour
This is an example of a video that is as simple as possible because it teaches such a hard concept. The song gets faster and faster, so children are motivated to sing again and again to try to keep up! Children learn the standard in the context of a holistic understanding of telling time.
Greater Than/Less Than Video With the Pizza-Eating Alligator
Note that this is a K-1 Video. This character is featured in several additional videos in this set and teaches children the concepts of 1 more, 10 more, 1 less, 10 less, addition in the context of a story, and the concept of greater than/less than related to fractions.

***I only included the "Making 21-30" Video on the TpT site because this set is too big to fit into one file. I have instead linked to them through the pdf file.
The "supporting document" includes:
1. A pdf file containing lyrics to all songs. Feel free to print these for your students to use year after year!
2. Vimeo Links: Click on titles in the Table of Contents or on lyric pages to access Vimeo sites. From Vimeo, you'll be able to stream AND download all videos (for classroom use only).
I will also add any additional materials that come with mini-video files to this set.
This set is sold separately from the song files, available here.
Use these videos to introduce, teach, and review individual topics. Pause them to discuss the many strategies that are included. Use lyric pages to connect math to literacy. You may want to use lyric pages without the songs--as a whole class, during guided reading groups, during partner work, and for independent reading.
