This is a bundle. This is a set of seven first grade phonics lesson focusing on substituting the initial consonant blends within CVC (consonant- vowel- consonant) words. The words used are from the short a word families: -ad, -ap, -at, -am, -ag, -an, and -ab. It is designed to provide students the opportunity to practice their phonics skills, which aids in reading and writing development. This scripted lesson can be led whole class at the carpet area or in small groups. Large Century Gothic font used for readability. This lesson also can be used at the kindergarten level, in a small group, to provide additional support to those performing above grade level.
