BOO! This craftivity aims to get your kids engaged and interested in place value while they work to do a hands-on craft activity that integrates arts. The finished product turns out so cute and makes great displays for bulletin boards or outside hallways.
Included in this packet are all of the following:
-All (3) printables to will need to use for your posters (My skeleton is made of... and then a break down of the place value of the number... and the printable skull heads so students can just glue that on)
-A picture overview of what a finished project would look like.
-Signs to hang (in a fun font!) if you chose to make a display with student finished work.
Aligns with Common Core for first grade math:
CCSS.Math.Content. 1.NBT.B.2 Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones.
**Although this activity does have "Halloween" undertones, Halloween is not specifically mentioned anywhere in the packet and this could be displayed all through the month of October!**
