First Grade Reading Comprehension

This packet is all you need to launch a Text Detectives Book Club. There is a case file/graphic organizer for each Common Core State Standard in Reading: Literature and Informational Text for first grade. The pack will also be great way to practice locating text evidence to support their "case."

The packet includes:

-Teacher Directions and Tips

-Printable magnifying glasses

-Text Detective Badges that fit in any standard name tag holder

-A friendly letter written to your class asking them to join the club

-An application to join the club

-A case file cover page for each standard

-full page and half page graphic organizers for each standard

-Directions on how to launch a book club in your classroom
