My students were very engaged Scooting through different math stations putting to work their adding strategies! Method: Set up four different work stations, equipped with supporting manipulatives, for students to rotate through. They will use their recording sheet to solve the given equation at each station. You can set a timer (7-8 minutes should work but give more time if they need! I also included a blank hundreds chart for them to work on when they finished the station.) Give everyone the same recording sheet (problem) or have a few different groups working on separate problems.
I set up each station on my break with lots of time to spare! Simple. Engaging. Rigorous.
