First Nations, New France and Europeans is a social studies unit created to support student learning about the early origins of this country. This inquiry-based unit, which meets the 2013 Ontario Ministry of Education Social Studies curriculum for Grade 5, provides a variety of activities meant to allow students to explore the perspectives of each group of people involved.
There are many pages of text with interesting fact bubbles and pictures that kids will love to read. Students love this unit and it is teacher and student tested. Many of the questions also help prepare students for tests like EQAO or other standardized tests.
This will cover your entire social studies! It will also cover a great deal of art, reading and writing.
