Beginning Sound Fun!
These initial sound clip cards make a great literacy activity or center. They work great for whole group, small group or RtI instruction.
This download includes 56 clip cards in total. There are two clip cards per letter of the alphabet.
To assemble, print onto cardstock and laminate. Cut the cards into individual cards and place them into a storage container of your choice. You can also hole punch the cards and secure them together with a metal binder ring. Students can then use clothes pins to complete the activity or, if the cards are laminated, they can use dry erase markers to circle or draw an X onto the letters.
These cards can also be made into self checking cards simply by marking the back of the cards with a dot or sticker prior to laminating. Once students have clipped or marked a letter, they can then flip the card over to see if they were correct.
