This is a mini-center for first sound and sound-symbol correspondence. Students use letter stamps to stamp the first sound in the picture shown. There are eight different sheets, and a recording sheet. Students can record when they finish the activity by coloring in the corresponding stamper on the recording sheet.
You could make multiple copies of each sheet, and put them in file folders. Students can pick a sheet go to their center, complete it, then record the number on their recording sheet. Students do not have to do the sheets in order. The recording sheet is optional, but I have found students really like them.
It would also work great as a station for those early finishers!
