Product Description
This task asks students to view and respond to any of four great paintings from WW1. Responses could be individual and written in paragraph form; or presented as a short group/individual talk, with the images displayed by projector.

Questions include opportunities for poetic, creative responses as well as analytical/critical responses, depending on student interest/strengths and time available.

*Students should ideally use digital devices to view the images. They can either follow the links to the high-res, zoomable digital versions, or just use those embedded in the word document

*This task is perfectly-matched to a study of 'All Quiet On The Western Front'. One question relates specifically to this novel, but can be modified to suit a history class.
