Product Description
This presentation walks through steps that allow students to set their own expectations by brainstorming ideas based on their own school experiences.

Class should be split into six groups. Groups will rotate around the room (six stations with chart paper at each table) and spend 1-2 minutes brainstorming the answers to different questions. Groups will rotate together to all six stations, getting a different question at each station; they add to the list and repeat anything that's already on the list. Back at their "home table," each group identifies 3-4 common ideas or words from the list at their table to share out. A class list is made (example: respect, come prepared, listen, kindness, etc.).

At the end, the class will create a class list of expectations that everyone commits to by the end of class.
