This download now contains a complete bundle, with a morning worksheet for every weekday from January 2 to June 9. Your students will write their name, color in the day of the week, trace over the date, count groups of dimes, nickels and pennies, tell time to the quarter hour, and add double digits with carrying. There are also a variety of ELA skills on the pages. Students will identify beginning blends, and rhymes. They will read, trace and write first grade sight words and find the words in a simple one-line word search. They will also read a short story using first grade sight words and answer three comprehension questions.
With the exception of the double digit with carrying, this set is identical to my set, First/Second Grade Morning Work January through June
The pages follow the same format every day, and from week to week. This familiarity will promote independence once the students have learned and understood the tasks.
The preview contains the first week of worksheets. Please feel free to download the preview and use it with your students to decide if this product is a good fit for your classroom.
These worksheets are prepared for 2017. I will update these next year. If you purchase now, you will also be able to download the revised version with current dates to use again next year.
The beginning of the year is available here: First/Second Grade Morning Work August through December with Double Digit Addition
