Do you want to introduce the concepts for Sudoku to young students?
This activity was created to help students see the different groups in a beginning 4x4 Sudoku Puzzle. There are three worksheets that have students focus on just one group: a row (Horizontal Line), a column (Vertical Line), and the Square Box. Then there is one traditional 4x4 Sudoku Puzzle at the end.
For each page, students cut out four different fish and paste them in the blank squares above so that each group has exactly one of each type of fish.
Color and Black & White versions are both included.
