In this exciting sort game students will be reading sentence cards and determining if they are simple or compound sentences. They will be sorting 20 of each type of sentence. Then after their wonderful practice they will be given a chance to write their own simple sentences about a subject and then turn the two thoughts into a compound sentence.
The compound sentences include the conjunctions but, and, so and or.
This is a station activity you are not going to want to miss out on! With both guided and independent practice available it is a set up and go type of activity.
