Head out to the Fishing Hole and catch a few fish on some really big fishing hooks! Each fish has an addition or subtraction equation on it that you can solve and sort on to the appropriate fishhook. Children can work alone or with a small group of friends to solve equations and sort out the fish onto the fishing hooks. Recording pages are provided if you want to see what students caught on each hook as they were out fishing! This product is a fun way to practice addition and subtraction facts from 10 through 20 but gives you the opportunity to control how many of those facts they are exposed to at one time. You can provide them with just facts to 12 to 15 and just addition or subtraction and add a few more as needed in your classroom. You could differentiate from group to group as well if you are using this as a center activity. This is done in B&W as well as in Color.
Look for Fishhook Facts 0-10 which provides review and practice for students who need additional practice with these facts.
