The companion mats target initial and final P, B, T, D, K, G, F, V, Sh, Ch, Th, L, R, Z and S. Initial S, R, and L blends are also included. There are many commercial games on the market to choose from. They range from fish to characters that students enjoy.

Game Directions
• Set up the fishing game
• Give each player a mat that corresponds with their targeted sound
• Practice each picture in their net.
• Turn on the game.
• Each student fishes.
• The say picture on their net and place a fish or game piece on it.
• Play until all the pictures are covered.
