Students must answer and discuss task card questions. Opponent(s) will check for accuracy before allowing the student to mark the X or O. All students will be actively working at all times. No idle moments! Place boards in sheet protectors for use with dry erase or use with 2 color counters to mark the board. Play in pairs or teams. 2-6 players
Create text dependent thinkers and promote text talk in your center groups with ANY informational text or fiction piece. Use the game board with either informational text task cards or the fiction task cards. Students will play in their Kagan groups or guided reading groups.
