This resource is designed to provide a fun way for students to practice adding numbers using the math strategy of doubles + 1. Students cover up the fish bowls on their game boards by solving addition problems presented on the fish cards they pick. It is a game that students can use independently with a partner or with a group during math centers. It can also be used by a general education or special education teacher with a group of students who may be struggling with adding numbers using the math strategy of doubles + 1 but who are motivated by learning games. Great for special education students who have IEP goals in the area of math calculation or computation.
Intended for grades K-2.
