This 5-lesson unit teaches students the knowledge they need to GET ACTIVE and STAY FIT! It is great for health and career, physical education, fitness, and general wellness.

Project based learning, hands-on activities, and student-lead exercise routines are included in this low-prep unit plan

(Includes Canadian and American resources!)

Students will research (or, will explore as a group), how much exercise is recommended by the Center for Disease Control, or the Canadian Public Health Agency. They will learn the difference between endurance, flexibility, and strength activities, as well as vigorous/moderate exercise.

Students will wrap the unit with a project where they will teach the class a physical activity that can be done at home. Rubric included!
