I created this grading rubric for the FitnessGram Tests. It is based off of progression. We do FitnessGram 5x throughout the school year at my school. The first is a diagnostic and graded for effort. Then, from each test, students are graded on increasing (or reaching the max, or some the top 1/3 of the HFZ) each of the FitnessGram tests that we do at my school. I found that it pushed all students, athletically inclined or not. We talked about long and short term goal setting.
We do: PACER, Curl Ups, Push-Ups, Sit and Reach, and the Trunk Lift.
I teach 9th grade PE so the first chart only includes 13-15 year old HFZ reference, but I left it as a Word Document, so you can change those as you go.
