Sick of having students complete comprehension questions all the time? This purchase will provide you with a quote hunt and a recommended activity/lesson plan that will accurately trace chapter 6 from F.Scott Fitzgerald's novel, The Great Gatsby.

The QUOTE HUNT method proves to be a powerful one with many types of learners and useful for all types of literature based readings. For Gatsby's chapter six there are twelve "clues" provided to the students so that they can identify significant and important aspects from this area of study. Students are then asked to identify and find passage(s) that connect to each provided “clue”. They are prompted to record one or more quote(s) that they feel best matches the context clues along with page numbers.

The product can be used in class or as a homework assignment. It is very successful activity for many different types of readers and teaches them about quoting text properly.

I have been using the Quote Hunt method for years and hope you find it a valuable classroom resource.
