All of my products are interactive, student directed, and student and teacher evaluated. This type of learning allows students to be responsible for the type of grade they wish to achieve, which is empowering.

All of my writing lessons include scoring guides which make evaluating writing an even playing field for all students and makes grading so much easier. Students like knowing what the expectations are, and how their writing will be evaluated.

Please note the compare/contrast and cause/effect lessons are also sold as individual lessons at my TpT store under the heading “CC Aligned Expository Writing Lessons”, but the individual lessons are not in interactive writing notebook format.
