Kiddos LOVE telling, re-telling and acting out poems like "Five Little Bunnies" over and over again! This "Five Little Bunnies" re-telling craftivity is yet another way for students to have fun with this terrific, original poem! For a better look, just click on PREVIEW!
Students will be making a re-telling envelope that features the poem on one side and a hill picture on the other side. They will then make bunny stick-puppets by cutting out five little bunnies and gluing them onto the ends of five craft sticks. These can be stuck into the top of the envelope to mimic the bunnies playing on the hill. When they are ready to take it home and read the poem to parents, the bunny sticks can be placed inside the envelope and it's ready to go!
I hope your kiddos have as much fun with this project as mine always do!
