Five Little Monkeys
This pack contains “Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed” as well as ‘Five Monkey Swinging from a Tree”. There are 114 pages of mini readers, writing, math and craft tasks. Each section has a clear set of instructions.

Matching lower case and upper case letters
Color copy and laminate. Cut cards and store in a bag. Match the lower case to the uppercase letter.
Cut and Paste Sentences
Copy one for each student. The ‘Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed’ can be copied for each number. Depending on the number of monkeys chosen – you then add the correct number word for each page and then the correct number of monkeys.
Color copy and use as covers for your stories. Each student will write their own version and then you staple them in a class book. Share and send home as shared books or keep them in your class library. Plus a set for different animals/children/mermaids/bugs/cats/dogs. There are multiple recording sheets.
Roll and add
Color copy the bed and the monkeys. Laminate for long term use. Roll the dice and add the monkeys to the bed. Count them and record the total. Extension – record the number sentence 3+2=5 5+2=7 and keep track of how many monkeys after three or four rolls of the dice. There is a save an ink version.
Match the bananas to the monkeys
Color copy and laminate. Match the correct number of bananas to the ten frames of monkeys 1-20. There is a save an ink version.
Color copy or color the black and white version. Cut them out and attach to an icy pole stick.
As you recite the poem or sing as a song, children can use the puppets to show the actions. The children may like to make up their own script to perform.

Cut out around the monkey face. Cut out the eyes so you can see. Cut out the white circles to attach ribbon or elastic and secure on your head.
