Kiddos LOVE telling, re-telling and acting out poems like "Five Little Snowmen" over and over again! This "Five Little Snowmen" re-telling craftivity is yet another way for students to have fun with this terrific, engaging poem! For a better look, just click on PREVIEW!
Students will be making a re-telling envelope that features the poem on one side and a hill picture on the other side. They will then make snowmen stick-puppets by cutting out five little snowmen and gluing them onto the ends of five craft sticks. These can be stuck into the top of the envelope to mimic the snowmen sitting on the hill. When they are ready to take it home and read the poem to parents, the snowmen sticks can be placed inside the envelope and it's ready to go!
I hope your kiddos have as much fun with this project as mine always do!
