I created this craft to go with the poem "Five Little Speckled Frogs." You can print the pictures out in color or black and white, colored cardstock or construction paper cut to size in order to fit in your printer or copier. Then students decide how many frogs they want to start with on the log and how many are going to jump in. They cut and glue the appropriate numbers to fill in the blanks. This could also be used as a math center and the pieces could be laminated. It would be great for reinforcing beginning subtraction skills.
