Description

In my humble opinion, the performance tasks in the Go Math! series are not that strong, relevant, or well-worded for kids. They don't look much like the "real deal" for state tests either. I put together 5 performance tasks here that cover several areas from different chapters ranging from percents to graphing to absolute value, coordinate planes to integers and statistical questions. This would be great for review, spiral review, or test prep for state testing. It's a "greatest hits" that would be awesome especially for the spring. A wide range of standards are covered. I'm working on making more of these....stay tuned. Thanks for looking and I appreciate your consideration. Please leave some positive feedback if you like the product (I sound like the "Like and Subscribe" YouTube hosts!)

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Recognize a statistical question as one that anticipates variability in the data related to the question and accounts for it in the answers. For example, “How old am I?” is not a statistical question, but “How old are the students in my school?” is a statistical question because one anticipates variability in students’ ages.
Understand that a set of data collected to answer a statistical question has a distribution which can be described by its center, spread, and overall shape.
Recognize that a measure of center for a numerical data set summarizes all of its values with a single number, while a measure of variation describes how its values vary with a single number.
