Spring has sprung! What better than study science, the season, and writing all in one. Print out the documents. Copy the sentences and have a discussion with students about what we sense in the spring. Then help them fill in the sentences. Cut out a circle and five petals each. Attach each sentence to a petal and complete the flower. Add a steam and leaves if desired.
Read a book about spring with it and then generate your list!
Add difficulty to this for higher level students by having them write their own sentences on the flower petals.
Makes a great bulletin board activity!
