Students will love this fun Gingerbread House Activity this holiday season! In this Gingerbread House Activity, students will describe a gingerbread house with their five senses. As a group, you will go over the five senses and how they relate to Gingerbread Houses using the Gingerbread House Anchor Chart Activity. Then students will create their own Gingerbread House Flap Book. The flap book is provided in 2 versions for differentiation. Error-free picture choices are included for students who need picture support or have limited fine motor skills. This Gingerbread House Activity is great for elementary and special education classrooms.

***This Gingerbread House Activity was created to go along with Gingerbread Houses made with graham crackers.***

  • Gingerbread House Anchor Chart Pictures – Pictures match the error-free picture choices of Version 2 (This can be done as a class first)
  • Gingerbread House Flap Page Activity (2 versions in color and B/W)

Version 1: Fill-In the Blank - Students use their 5 Senses to describe their Gingerbread House.

Version 2: Cut/Paste Error-Free Pictures – Students choose error-free picture choices to fill in the blank (box).

  • Simple teacher directions to create Milk Carton Gingerbread Houses are included. This activity is OPTIONAL and you will need small milk cartons, graham crackers, frosting, and candies to decorate if completing this activity.
