Five Times Tables Multiplication Game: Great for Centers, Homework, or Fun Math Fluency Review!
I use this activity as a center during math time, but of course, this could also be a fun game to play at any time with your kiddos just to practice math fluency. I have also sent this activity home with students to play with a parent or sibling.
You could also play this on your interactive whiteboard, which my kids enjoy!
1. The oldest player begins the game by choosing a multiplication card from the pile.
2. If he/she answers correctly, that player shades in one square with the product he/she just answered.
3. Continue game play in a clockwise circle until there are no squares left on the board.
One final Rule!
If you answer an equation and there are no more squares with that product, your turn ends. Play continues to the next player until all squares are filled.
Winning the Game: After all squares have been filled, the player with the most TOUCHING squares wins the game.
Multiplication flash cards are also included which go up to x12.
Usually, my kids will want to play a few times, so I make sure I have enough copies of the game board printed. :)
Thanks for looking!
